The current building was reconstructed in 1994 according to its original design and specifications.
Picture in our hanbok in front of Heungnyemun Gate Overall, it did take us the entire 4 hours to explore the Gyeongbokgung Palace before heading back to return our hanboks.
The palace is beautiful for visits in all four distinct seasons in Korea.
