KPDNHEP director Azman Adam in a statement today said the premises which are located in a shopping mall in Klang, were raided by ministry enforcement personnel from Putrajaya during an operation following information from the relevant copyright owners as well as intelligence conducted by the ministry for two weeks.
He added, if convicted, they can be fined not less than RM10,000 and not more than RM200,000, or face imprisonment not exceeding 20 years, or both..

He said continuous enforcement and monitoring action will be taken by the ministry as this type of streaming technology tool is capable of committing copyright infringement by illegally accessing copyright-protected work.
